Is polyethylene raw material resistant to sunlight?
If polyethylene does not have any physical and chemical protection, it is affected by UV rays and weakens. Thanks to the 2-3% carbon black added during production, UV input is cut off and weakening is prevented. Therefore, PE can also be used outdoors. However, other types can be used underground or outdoors with a protective coating.

HDPE have a stronger resistance than others. MRS (Minimum Required Strength) value was calculated as 8 for MDPE and 10 for HDPE products.
