What are sprınkler ırrıgatıon systems?

Irrigation is the biggest support and auxiliary factor in meeting the yield they need for the normal development of plants. The system works with pressurized water. This method can be used in all climatic conditions suitable for irrigated agriculture and in all kinds of soil suitable for agriculture and in topography conditions unsuitable for surface irrigation.

It can be applied on very inclined, uneven areas and soils with low depth without causing water loss and erosion, and it can also be used efficiently in soils with high permeability or low water holding capacity. However, the precipitation rate value should be carefully selected in heavy textured (clay) soils. In other words, the precipitation rate should not be more than the water intake rate of the soil.
In addition, this method can be used for almost all plants. If the appropriate cap type, cap and lateral spacing are selected, irrigation efficiency and irrigation uniformity are high.

Sprinkler irrigation systems produced according to TS 418-2 PrEN 12201-2 and TS 418-2 EN 12201-2 standards and ISO EN 3007:2000 quality management system are produced in suitable diameters using high density Polyethylene (HDPE).
If the main pipe to be used in sprinkler irrigation systems is PVC; at least 10 atm pressure, if PE; It must withstand a pressure of at least 6 atm. Lateral pipes are made of PE pipes with 6 atm pressure in the semi-constant sprinkler system, rigid PVC pipes with 10 atm pressure or PE pipes with 6 atm pressure are used in the fixed sprinkler system.

It is known by all of us that we need to use the water economically and efficiently, which is threatened by the decrease in the amount of water in our underground resources and the insufficient seasonal precipitation in today’s conditions. Sprinkler irrigation method has found a wide application area especially in developed countries, considering some situations like this and due to the many advantages it provides.
